AQUARELLA - 5 X 7 INCHES ON FABRIANO PAPER A FULL BOWL |
No more cherry! The season is just coming to a close. We get our share from the state of Washington and every year, it is a much awaited treat. I had problems with the different tones of red, my cherries are on the dull side and the paper is just not thirsty any more. Waiting a few days for the fruits to ripe won't change anything, will it? :)

A beautiful bowl of cherries, Helen. I think you did an excellent job!!!
You're too generous Hilda, but thanks! I'm taking all the encouragement I can. Hugs
Sweet! Helen your photo isn't showing up in my blog roll, just your text. the same with leslie saeta's blog. I don't know if it's just my blog roll or not. But I do think it is nice when the photo is there. Or maybe you don't want one. Who knows?
This is bizarre Maggie! I can see my cherries on your blog list, but I don't see Leila's blog at all. Hopefully everything's fine by now!
These look good enough to eat Helen! I love the color combinations.
Helen - I think your cherries are beautiful. Am catching up on all your fruits. This is a great challenge - I think I need something like this to give me inspiration and discipline. As always I so enjoy seeing your wonderful art. Take care friend and have a blessed day.
Thanks celia! I'm trying to mix more colors. There are so many to choose from.
Thanks Debbie! You're right, this challenge is all about discipline and working on a regular basis. I'm learning a lot these days. Hugs
Looks great. I love this chiaroscuro on the cherries.
Tes cérises me semblent lisses, serrées, juteuses, délicieuses. Tu dis qu'elles ne sont pas encore mûres mais je les goûterais volontiers, Helen. Il paraît que les problèmes sont bien finis donné le résultat que je vois!
Gros bisous
Thanks Maga! :)
Margarita, tu es une gourmande! Voilà! Bisous
