Day 23 - Gerbera Lollipop

DAY 23  -  GERBERA LOLLIPOP
ACRYLIC ON CANVA PAPER  -  4  1/2  X  6  INCHES APPROX

Voici la gerbera!  L'été, il y a toujours deux ou trois de ces fleurs dans le jardin parce qu'elle fleurissent tout l'été et ne demandent peu ou pas d'entretien.  En la dessinant, elle me faisait penser à un gros suçon et une fois peinte,encore plus!

Here's a gerbera, an annuel flower I like  because she flowers all summer long without any special care.  I always have a few of them in the garden.  While I was drawing, it reminded me of a big lollipop and once finished,  I couldn't get that  image out of my mind.
