| DAY 2 - ELEGANT ZINNIA Leslie Saeta's September Challenge WATERPAINTING ON TERRA SKIN PAPER 6 1/2 x 9 1/2 INCHES
This is a zinnia flower painted on TerraSkin paper. I've played with the watery background a bit too much but I'm happy with the result of the sweet flower. I prefer the larger paper( 9 x 14 ) easier to work with it and where the effects are more satisfying.
Voici la fleur Zinnia, élégante et joyeuse sur papier TerraSkin. C'est un peu surtravaillé, mais je suis contente des couleurs de la fleur. Je trouve le papier plus grand ( 9 x 14 ) qui réagit mieux et donne des effets plus intéressants.

Merci Martine! Le TerraSkin est un papier genre glaçé au toucher qui accepte à peu près tous les médiums sauf le pastel. Avec l'aquarelle, l'eau se promène vraiment partout avant de décider ce qu'elle va faire, c,est loin d'être évident. Le succès n'est pas toujours au rendez-vous, mais j'aime essayer des choses. Au dernier Défi de Leslie Saeta au mis de Janvier, j'avais fait le fond de certains portraits avec ce papier aussi. Pour te montrer les effets de près , j'ai changé ma présentation du blog. Hi Debbie, so nice to hear from you! I've been neglecting my friends this past summer. I felt the need to be in my garden for a while after loosing my dear mom. She was 98 and a half as she liked to say :) , a very special person. Hugs
