A busy time

THE FIRST PEONY

PANSIES

It's a lovely time of the year when nature is wakening up and colors are showing everywhere.  I just had a few minutes for this doodle because my garden is calling me.  This is a busy time but it's so much fun to be outside after a long winter.

Your sketch is as lovely as your garden! I've spent more time in the garden than painting, too, but it's all creative. And we will have more subjects to paint as the summer progresses. Thanks for sharing the artwork, and for letting us take a peek at your beautiful garden.

Hello Helen! I lost access to my blog for some months but finally I'm back. Missed blogging so much!Your watercolour is very spontaneous and alive, loved it!

Dear Helen - love your sketch my friend. Like you I am so busy in the garden too that all I can do is just a few quick pencil sketches. Hopefully once the planting is done and the weed pulling we can enjoy our endeavors and paint! Have a lovely day. Hugs!

Love the looseness of this fresh floral, Helen. Your new header is awesome and I've enjoyed scrolling down and seeing what I've missed of late.
