A sweet angel

PASTEL  -  9  X  12  INCHES
A SWEET ANGEL

When I saw her the first time, I thought what a beautiful looking young woman.  She came to our place to give us a hand with my mom , who's getting of a certain age (very soon , 97 years old) and needs help sometimes.   One of those rare dedicated person who suddenly appears from nowhere , a sweet angel.

She has angel eyes Helen. You style does justice to this young woman's sparkle. --Your mom, at ninety seven, has plenty of sparkle too I imagine. How lucky you are to have her.

Dear Helen, in this portrait you painted all the feeling that this person spreads around her.
Something unique, that for those who paint a portrait is a wonderful achievement, because it's like painting a portrait the soul, beyond the features of the face.
Have nice week.
Hugs,Rita

A beautiful portrait, Helen!
Something about her eyes that I found myself smiling. When my Dad
passed away he was 99 and he was such a joy !! However, there were times that I could have used this "sweet angel" that you painted! Enjoy your Mom!
