Little sister - Day 6

AQUARELLA AND INK  -  7  X  10 INCHES
LITTLE SISTER
ON STRATHMORE PAPER

It's my younger sister!  Well,  it's her and it's not her.  I did a sketch with a graphite pencil and used watercolor without  a fixative,  so the painting would do its job.  The problem is that some lines of the drawing got distorted.  I had to come back with ink and work some details.  I'm experimenting.
In real life, she is better looking  and  no, her eyes are not like this, one small and one large.  Her reading glasses are not red,  but maybe she should buy a new pair.  :)

Tu me diras ça!
Bonne semaine à toi.
Gros bisous.

Dear Helen - what an amazing painting...I think portraits have to be so difficult to do. Your little sister looks like someone special. Thanks Helen for sharing. Hope you are having a great start to January.

Thanks Debbie! My baby sister is real sweet. January is the longest month of the year, don't you think? And this Challenge of Leslie Saeta is keeping me busy. But I can't complaint, nobody twisted my arm. Take care.

It doesn't matter if it is "life like" because you made it lively.
