A study of Mrs D

DRAWING ON CANVAS PAPER  9  X  12  INCHES

I thought I would paint with colors, but finally I was happy just drawing.  Pencils are more my thing than brushes lately and I thought the subject quite interesting.  Maybe I'll add some colors later on!

Beautiful drawing, Helen. Mrs. D is perfect without color.

Bonjour ma chère Helen,

Son regard est rayonnant... Un très joli portrait. Beau travail.
Laisse venir tranquillement les évènements. Tu as envie de crayonner, fais-le ! Une belle réussite.

Gros bisous ♡

Nice portrait, Helen!!

Hi Helen, your sketch is wonderful. If you do add color will it be just a touch to the eyes? It's great just as it is.

Oh Helen - this drawing is fantastic. Your pencil work is as beautiful as your painting. So nice to switch mediums from time to time. Certainly looks like pencil is inspiring you to some awesome work. Hugs!

She doesn't need color added; her expression lets us know she's a colorful personality. Nice drawing Helen. Great lines/edges.

? -je me demande...

Gros bisous

Hi Carol! Yes, I was thinking of adding some colors in the background maybe and the eyes. I've got to think about it and I appreciate your feedback. :)

Hi Debbie, I'm glad you agree with me, it's real nice to change mediums once in a while. My pencils seem so precious these days and I can't explain myself the joy and satisfaction I get from drawing with them. Take care, xx

Thanks Linda! My subject is a quiet lady but with a stong personnality. I'm glad you appreciate this work, I'm happy with it. It's not always the case. :)

Tu as probablement raison Margarita.

Bisous
