Cold wave and Winter fun

WINTER FUN

There is no snow yet, but it shouldn't be long. I'm getting ready for winter.  Some of us have already finished their Christmas shopping and are ready to decorate.  Here, our fruitcakes are just getting out of the oven.  It's a slow beginning!  These two paintings were made this week  with spatula and brushes.

Dear Helen - I am not overly excited about winter but when I saw your beautiful paintings it certainly makes me see the beauty in this season as well. Sounds to me like you enjoy winter. Have a great week-end

Helen H Trachy a dit…

Hi Debbie! I can't blame you really for preferring summer. :) Happy week end!

You really get the feeling of cold here...surely obtained by the purple you used , two beautiful winter paintings . I haven't started anything Christmassy yet, can't believe you already finished the shopping ! I should learn from you ! Have a nice weekend . xx

Helen H Trachy a dit…

Merci Margarita! Gros bisous

Sorry jane, I meant some "other " people have finished their Christmas shopping. I'm only just beginning and spending too much time reading and painting. Bon weekend, bises

The cold is here, could the snow be far behind. I hope so. The only place I like to see snow is in paint on canvas. These are warm, wonderful scenes of winter. I love the colors you used in the white. They make snow a pleasant thought.

Of course Linda. I understand perfectly. Winter is always nice watched from the inside where it's comfortable. Thanks for your comment.

Hi lorraine! Of course we get fed up with winter at the end of the season, but it's always a thrill and lots of excitement at the beginning. Thanks for writing.

Hummm, cela me donne l'eau à la bouche.
Gros bisous à toi.

Helen H Trachy a dit…

Bonjour Martine!
