September jewel - Day 8

AQUARELLA - 5 X 7 INCHES
ON FABRIANO PAPER
SEPTEMBER JEWEL
SOLD

This flower is really a jewel sparkling under the bright sunshine of september.  In the fall, when it's time to clean up the garden , it's the only flower that I leave in place.  The birds hiding in the tall cedars around are well protected from the cold and  bad weather.  They comme out for lunch  when they're hungry.  They are crazy about these seeds.

Helen - this is so fresh even though it is the end of summer - you managed to capture the warmth of the season and let me know fall is still not here! I love the touch of the butterfly you included too. Just lovely friend.

Thanks Debbie! It is not fall yet but the temperature is dropping and it's time to start gathering some stuff. Take care.
